Leah served the Nashville community for six years through the YMCA of Middle Tennessee. Here she was tasked with providing verbiage for marketing and philanthropic campaigns, and funding dozens of Y programs through grants.

In 2012, Leah launched Create Local Change because she witnessed the difference that even a small step in the right direction could make for a community. Through this enterprise, she strived to teach those with the passion to make a difference how to organize and fund their dreams, and to help them improve the lives of those around them. Create Local Change offers complimentary consultations to grassroots nonprofits, as well as providing affordable grant writing services to organizations of all sizes.
