Since 2010, Leah has been a freelance writer specializing in search engine optimized content and marketing copy. Her work covers a variety of topics, although her specialties include law, health care, and personal finance. Her current book project centers on Nashville’s recovery from the historic 2010 flood.  

Her background is in journalism, and includes several years as a staff writer and editor at a daily newspaper. She previously worked at the YMCA of Middle Tennessee, YMCA Camp Widjiwagan, and Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Leah is also the founder of Create Local Change, a company that teaches small nonprofits and grassroots groups to raise funds and organize programs to improve their communities.

She holds degrees from the University of Georgia (ABJ) and Pennsylvania State University (MA). Leah currently lives in Nashville, TN.
